Green Lands Blue Waters is a consortium of scientists, policy experts, farmers, and community organizers embracing the Green Lands Blue Waters vision and implementing programs that directly advance the consortium’s strategies and goals. The strength of Green Lands Blue Waters builds on the programs of the partner organizations and of their individual staff and faculty members.
The Green Lands Blue Waters consortium was formed in 2004 through an agreement among five land grant universities and a dozen non-profit organizations. The University of Minnesota, College of Food, Agriculture and Natural Resource Sciences administers the Green Lands Blue Waters regional program.
